Horse Show Classes

June 23 through June 29, hundreds of youth equestrians from across the country and their families will make Fort Worth home for the 2010 Summer World Championship Paint Horse Show. The show is one of the breed's premier events, and is hosted annually by the American Paint Horse Association right here in Fort Worth.

And they will bring their world-class Paint Horses to compete head-to-head with other youth in hopes of being named World Champion. Over the course of seven days, APHA will name 73 Youth World Champions.

Join us to watch these young people at their finest. Classes range in skill and ability from leadline for the very young to speed, cattle, Western and English performance classes for those with a deeper skill set.

After the completion of the Youth portion of the Summer World Championship Show, a select number of adult Open and Amateur classes will be held in cutting, reining, roping, working cow horse, ranch sorting and team penning. Twenty-eight World Champions will be named in those classes, which begin Tuesday, June 29 and continue through the end of the show, on July 3. This will be an action-packed lineup of high-end performance classes at the world-class level.
