| If this is your first trip to the World Championship Paint Horse Show, you may have several questions about how to enter your classes. Here's a quick overview.
Where can I get the forms?
All the forms you'll need to enter classes can be found in the Premium Book and downloaded. There is a class entry form, used for all classes except the Team Penning Sweepstakes, which has a separate form. Photocopies of the forms are acceptable. All horses must have a stall at World Show, and must complete a stall form. The stall form is separate from the class entry form.
How do I fill out the forms?
Read the Premium Book carefully before you start filling out the forms so that you are aware of all the rules, fees and where to look up class codes. To get started, you'll need to list the horse's registered name and registration number. Then list the codes and names of the classes you wish to enter.
You can list on one form all the classes you plan to enter with a horse. However, a separate entry form is needed for each horse competing.

Can I enter a Solid Paint-Bred mare before
I complete the parentage verification?
No, parentage verification is a requirement for entry in the Solid Paint-Bred Halter Mare classes. Therefore, a Solid Paint-Bred entry will not be accepted before completion of the horse's parentage verification. Parentage verification can take 10 to 12 weeks. If you want to beat the regular entry deadline, we recommend you begin the parentage verification process at the beginning of March. Parentage verification should be started no later than April 1. |
